Corrections Policy

If you believe a BusinessKiwi article or calculator contains an error, please use our Contact page to report it.

What to include

Send the page address, identify the statement or result you believe is wrong, and explain the correction. Include a link to supporting evidence where possible. For a calculator issue, include the inputs, the result shown and the result you expected. Do not send passwords, identity documents or private financial records.

How corrections should be handled

A reported issue should be checked against the relevant evidence. If a material factual error is confirmed, correct the article and add a dated note explaining the change. Corrections should be clear enough for readers to understand what was wrong and what has changed.

Corrections, updates and small edits

A correction fixes inaccurate information. An update adds a meaningful development or replaces outdated information. Spelling, formatting and other minor edits do not need to be presented as a substantive update. Original publication dates should remain visible.

Disagreement and missing context

Readers may also flag missing context or disputed interpretations. A difference of opinion does not by itself establish a factual error; the relevant evidence and wording should guide the response.
